“My Favorite Things”
“My Favorite Things”
“When the dog bites, when the bee stings, when I’m feeling sad.
I simply remember my favorite things and then I don’t feel so bad”

Actually when I’m feeling these things, I don’t usually go to “raindrops on roses, and whiskers on kittens” or “bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens”. I feel the hurt, the pain, the disappointment, the grief and find my way to the Truth, that God is here in this moment, right now and this too shall pass. I may not jump for joy in the moment, and yet there is a sense that when I feel and acknowledge what is really going on and what never changes is my Divinity. My wholeness is not intruded upon, no matter what.
We hear so much about Spiritual Practice. It works. It really comes in handy “when the dog bites, the bee stings and I’m feeling sad”. It isn’t what happens to us, it is the way in which we respond to it.

Tonight in our conversation we have the opportunity to reveal where we see our spiritual growth in action. Join Rev. Michael and I as we share our favorite responses. Of course my beloved Michael is singing for us.
The conversation begins at 7 pm online
