"What Is Mine?", Maggie Cole, RScP, 7 pm, June 4

By Aaron Burden, www.unsplash.com In this year focused on value-based spiritual living, here is the June affirmation: “We account for our activities, disclose them in a transparent manner, and accept responsibility for our actions and the obligations entrusted to us.” In Maggie Cole's words:  "ACCOUNTABILITY! A powerful value, for me, right up there with integrity. It is a constant in life that we are given the opportunity to choose, to stand for who and what we are and what we do in this life. When we are willing to say YES to what is ours to do, to be accountable and take responsibility for our words, deeds and actions, we align ourselves with the truth of who we are."  Music:  Calvin Johnson blesses us with his presence, his beautiful voice and songs that lift and inspire. Come early and revel in his gifts.

"Is Your Artist in Residence?" Rev. Tara Steele, 7 pm, May 28

This month we've talked about many aspects of creativity.  It is at the heart of who we are and is not defined by artistic ability.  As we bring the conversation to a close, Rev. Tara and musician Jewel Shield offer an opportunity to touch into your inner artist. With music, with silence, with spoken word and practice, this service will take us within to where our artist always is present.  No special skills or talents are required, simply show up and be present.  The service begins at 7 pm in Room 10; the music will begin a bit earlier.  All are welcome.

"Cultivating Creativity: Letting Go of Comparison", Megan Rooney RScP, 7 pm, Sunday, May 21

Photo courtesy of Martha McCabe The tulip does not turn to the rosebush in the flowerbed next to it and suddenly feel inadequate because of its simple petals and slender stalk. It embraces the creation of beauty that it is and is meant to be.   We humans tend to fall prey to our comparing mind and judge ourselves for being, having, or expressing as less than, rather than simply embracing the unique creative expression that we are.  Join Practitioner Megan Rooney to explore, embrace and celebrate our Divine creative nature! The service begins at 7 pm in Room 10, North Wing.  All are welcome

"To Be Spiritual Is To Create", Practitioner Maggie Cole, 7 pm, Sunday, May 7

Photo by Siebe Warmoeskerken, www.unsplash.com “We allow the ongoing activity of Spirit into our hearts, minds and activities to bring forth new forms and expressions to inspire and guide” Here's what Practitioner Maggie has to say about this Sunday's evening service: “If I couldn’t create, I might as well be dead”. My son said this to me one day and at the time, I don’t know that I understood the depth of what he was saying about himself. I have since revealed the truth of this in my own life. The absolute joy of accessing the wealth of ideas God is always and forever supplying and once in a while capturing it and bringing it to form. Glory Hallelujah. The realization of the infinite creativity of Spirit is truly a gift that keeps on giving. Let us always revel in it.  Music:  Maggie's intuitive and creative friend, Andy Graham, brings his musical expression to us this Sunday. He and other artists are Maggie's mentors for witnessing her own intuiti
