"Who Am I Really?", Maggie Cole RScP, 7 pm, Sunday, December 3, Waggoner Hall

Photo by  Yoann Boyer  on  Unsplash Here is what Maggie Cole has to say about her talk on December 3: "The first step toward healing is one of honest self-analysis. The value of Integrity is one of my highest values and it keeps rising as a priority as I discover the power of it. To inquire within ourselves, to discover the real truth of who we are, to be in alignment with our word, to place honesty first, to do what we say, to be accountable, to walk our talk is essential to spiritual unfoldment." Sunday evenings we gather to share what matters, listening, speaking, sitting together.  All are welcome to this opportunity to join in spiritual community.  Musician Tom McCurry adds his voice to creating a sacred circle.  The service begins at 7 pm, in Waggoner Hall, North Wing.  All are welcome.

"Sacred Sunday Singing with Karen Drucker", 7 to 8:30 pm, Sunday, November 26

“Music has the ability to bypass the mind and sink into the heart.“ Breathing, stillness, rest, calm, allowing yourself to just “be” and not “do” for a little while. Settling into your heart and dropping into that place of inner knowing. At this time after the fires, give yourself a “time out” and allow yourself to be musically nurtured.  This evening service will be an audience participatory event where we sing and chant, meditate and pray together. This is a sacred, meditative, musical event where we create a sacred space by spending time chanting, (singing repetitive and affirmative words over and over), being in silence, listening to short sacred inspirational readings, and just allowing ourselves to “be”.  We will sing, speak, and meditate on the themes of health and well-being, love, prayer, sacred service, faith, and gratitude. Some of the songs may include: The Face of God, Your Prayer Is My Prayer Too, Blessing To The World, Holy Holy Holy, Loving Kindness, I Am S

"Healing Tragedy Through Synchronicity", Sky Nelson-Isaacs, 7 pm, Sunday, November 19

Synchronicity is a trustworthy guide that often requires letting go.  Tragedy can reopen our hearts to the call of synchronicity and flow and reconnect us with our authentic self.   Finding more authenticity in our lives is a great gift which can be hidden underneath the pain of loss, yet when we suffer great loss, we are more open to whispers from life, calls to new direction.  When we are grieving, we are more available to the gentle but persistent guidance from life that comes in the form of synchronistic events.  Sky will gently explore this with us. Sky also brings his musical talents to the service.  Joining him in song are  Fran Bailin and Steve Berry.  The service begins at 7 pm in Waggoner Hall, North Wing.  All are welcome.
