"Make Room for Growth," Practitioner Maggie Cole, 7 pm, Sunday, March 4, 2018

Photo by qinghill on Unsplash Since the truth is infinite, there is room for eternal expansion. The awareness of the truth that we are made in the image and likeness of God, which is the foundation of our existence, is illuminated by our spiritual practice, the acceptance of our divinity and the elimination of the beliefs, habits, patterns of behavior that may get in the way. Join Maggie Cole as she encourages us to make room for growth, to raise the bar and to delight in life.  Calvin Johnson brings his talent and presence to fill our service with music. The service starts at 7 pm in Waggoner Hall, North Wing. All are welcome.

"Black History Month: Where Do We Go From Here?" Calvin Johnson, 7 pm, Sunday, February 25, Sanctuary

Our speaker, Calvin H. Johnson, a member of CSLSR since 2014, presently a member of the Board of Trustees and the One Heart Choir. No matter your race or ethnicity, living in our present times can be both challenging and rewarding. Come to this special Sunday Evening Service to explore the origins of Black History Month (BHM) and gain insight into where we all can choose to go, in terms of diversity,  from this point. Black History Month is not only about Black History, nor only for Black people.  It includes all of our histories: past, present, and future, as CSL Mystics, Americans, and humans. This talk will focus on the origins of BHM, why its commemoration continues to be important, and how we each can contribute to the future development of BHM, and the diversity it represents, in our community. Since the Center for Spiritual Living Santa Rosa regards BHM as a special commemoration for all of our community, we are presenting this Sunday Evening Service in the Sanct

"Diversity in Oneness", Sunday, February 18, 7 pm, Waggoner Hall

The second Sunday of the month, the Diversity Discussion Group (DDG) gathers to talk about ways to build bridges across our many differences.  As our nation celebrates Black History Month, the DDG leadership team brings its experience to the Sunday evening service. We will gather in stillness and prayer then explore the ways that we and others show up in the world. We'll talk about what diversity and Oneness mean and the obstacles we experience and want to shift. Sunday evenings offer an interactive experience of community in a safe environment where people can be seen and heard. Please plan to join us at 7 pm in Waggoner Hall, North Wing.
