Blessings in the New Year! And, there is no Sunday evening service on December 31

Nordwood-Themes, www.unsplash.com We approach a traditional time of new beginnings with the arrival of 2018.  There are feelings of celebration, inspiration, possibilities, and perhaps even a bit of relief to bid 2017 farewell. Our Sunday Evening Services team blesses and appreciates each and every one of you who has come to a Sunday evening service this year.  It is your presence that inspires us and creates the sense of deepening connection that we treasure. The last Sunday of 2017, there is no evening service.  With all the lovely morning and afternoon times of meditation and vigil on December 31, it felt like it was time to party.  So, for those of you who signed up ahead and put your names on the waiting list, we look forward to seeing you.  We chose to limit seating and don't have space for last-minute drop-ins.  Given the enthusiasm for the gathering, I'm sure there will be others in 2018. Christmas Eve Cangle Lighting Services, 6 pm and 8 pm, Sunday, December 24

Photo by Nicola Fioravanti on Unsplash Our Christmas Eve Candle Lighting Services will be at 6 pm and 8 pm – a magical evening of music, inspiration, prayer, and lights. The candle lighting procession will be accompanied by sacred music of the season specially prepared by music director Christopher Fritzsche and performed by the Christmas Eve Choir and Orchestra. Message by Dr. Edward Viljoen. Arrive 15 minutes early and sing familiar carols together.
